This is a biographical monograph on the typographer Susan Kare. Kare designed the first typefaces for the Macintosh computers. Per the times, she worked exclusively in pixels. The square pixel came to be the defining shape in the shape and layout of my book. The typeface she created, Monaco, is also utilized to showcase her work.
